pecker, Northern Flicker, Wood Duck, Fish Crow, Eastern Wood-Pewee,
Eastern Kingbird, Great Crested Flycatcher, Carolina Wren, and House
Wren.

LANDINGVILLE: (tc)
Birds on 7/4 included Great Blue Heron, Green Heron, Wood Duck,
Broad-winged Hawk, SORA, Killdeer, Spotted Sandpiper, Yellow-billed
Cuckoo, Eastern Screech-Owl, Willow Flycatcher, Great Crested Fly-
catcher, Eastern Kingbird, Fish Crow, Bank Swallow, Blue-gray Gnat-
catcher, Veery, Wood Thrush, Cedar Waxwing, Blue-winged Warbler,
Northern Parula, Yellow Warbler, Prairie Warbler, Black-and-white
Warbler, Yellow-breasted Chat, Brown-headed Cowbird, and Baltimore
Oriole.

SWATARA STATE PARK: (tc)
Birds on 7/1 included Great Blue Heron, Green Heron, Wood Duck, Broad-winged Hawk, Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Eastern Wood-Pewee,
White-eyed Vireo, Horned Lark, Carolina Wren, Blue-gray Gnatcatcher,
Wood Thrush, Cedar Waxwing, Blue-winged Warbler, Northern Parula,
Yellow Warbler, Prairie Warbler, Black-and-white Warbler, Scarlet
Tanager, Brown-headed Cowbird, and Baltimore Oriole.

TUMBLING RUN WATERSHED: (tc)
Birds on 6/28 included Pileated Woodpecker, Veery, Hermit Thrush,
Black-throated Green Warbler, Blackburnian Warbler, Black-and-white
Warbler, Scarlet Tanager, and Red-eyed Vireo.
Birds on 7/2 included Canada Warbler, Hooded Warbler, Black-throated
Blue Warbler, Blue-headed Vireo, Chestnut-sided Warbler, Prairie
Warbler, American Redstart, Worm-eating Warbler, and Hermit Thrush.

HIDDEN VALLEY: (aml)
Birds for the week included Indigo Bunting, Northern Flicker, Tree
Swallow, Barn Swallow, Brown Thrasher, Northern Mockingbird, Gray
Catbird, Red-tailed Hawk, Sharp-shinned Hawk, Turkey Vulture, Black
Vulture, and Wild Turkey.

OWL CREEK WATERSHED: (dk)
Birds on 7/3 included 6 Golden-crowned Kinglets, 6 Pine Warblers,
Chipping Sparrow, Black-billed Cuckoo, Yellow-billed Cuckoo, 4 Northern
Parulas, Sharp-shinned Hawk, Broad-winged Hawk, Red-breasted
Nuthatch, Blue-headed Vireo, 3 Blackburnian Warblers, 5 Black-throated
Blue Warblers, 4 Canada Warblers, Green Heron, Hooded Warbler, Brown Creeper, Ruby-throated Hummingbird, and Hermit Thrush.

NEWTOWN: (dk,nt,dm)
On 6/27 birds included an incredible number of 8 Common Ravens,
2 Yellow-rumped Warblers, 3 Blue-headed Vireos, Black-billed Cuckoo,
Pine Warbler, and Hermit Thrush.

SGL-229 TREMONT: (dk,nt)
On 6/27 birds included Broad-winged Hawk, Yellow-breasted Chat,
Worm-eating Warbler, and Priairie Warbler.

MILL & WOLF CREEK: (mw)
On 6/29 birds included Sharp-shinned Hawk, 2 Worm-eating Warblers,
Black-throated Green Warbler, 2 Black-throated Blue Warblers, Yellow-
throated Vireo, American Redstart, and Veery.

POTTSVILLE: (mw,kw,tc)
On 6/29 a Cooper's Hawk was seen flying over Calvary Cemetery. In the
Willie Street area of East Mines, birds included Northern Cardinal, House
Wren, Blue Jay, Indigo Bunting, Red-winged Blackbird, American Robin,
and American Goldfinch.

CASS TOWNSHIP: (mw)
On 6/28 birds included 5 Hermit Thrushes, Black-throated Blue Warbler,
Black-throated Green Warbler, Nashville Warbler, Yellow-rumped Warbler,
Pileated Woodpecker, 2 Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, Yellow-billed Cuckoo,
2 Prairie Warblers, Fish Crow, Baltimore Oriole, 2 Great Crested Fly-
catchers, and Carolina Wren.

GORDON NAGLE TRAIL: (bc)
On 7/1 a Ruby-throated Hummingbird nest was found, and on 6/29 in
the same general area, from the soccer fields along the railroad towards
Indian Run, birds included American Goldfinch, American Crow, Field
Sparrow, Common Yellowthroat, Red-eyed Vireos, Indigo Bunting, Black-
throated Blue Warblers, Black-throated Green Warblers, Eastern Towhee,
Eastern Phoebe, Common Grackle, Killdeer with young, Hooded Warbler,
and Yellow-billed Cuckoo.

LUTZ VALLEY ROAD: (bc)
Another Yellow-billed Cuckoo was heard singing at this area of Wayne
Township on 7/4.

SGL-326 FRACKVILLE: (tc)
On 7/1 this new county gamelands area yielded 8 Red-eyed Vireos, 6
Indigo Buntings, 4 Eastern Wood-Pewees, 2 Wood Thrushes, Veery,
3 Scaralet Tanagers, 8 Blue Jays, 6 Ovenbirds, 2 Eastern Towhees,
Tree Swallow, 2 Barn Swallows, 5 Common Yellowthroats, 4 Eastern
Phoebes including young, Worm-eating Warbler, 4 American Robins,
and 2 American Crows.

BUTLER TOWNSHIP: (mw)
On 6/30 birds included Northern Harrier, Cedar Waxwings, Yellow-billed
Cuckoo,, and Pileated Woodpecker.

PEACH MOUNTAIN ROAD: (mw)
On 6/30 birds included 2 Red-tailed Hawks, 4 Prairie Warblers, Cedar
Waxwings, Eastern Kingbird, American Kestrel, Barn Swallows, and
Black-billed Cuckoo.

CASS TOWNSHIP: (mw)
On 6/30 birds included 5 Killdeer including 2 young, and Horned Lark.
